What do we do?
We hold quarterly workshops, which are invite-only events. These provide our members with the opportunity to hear topical presentations from high-level expert speakers from blockchain intelligence companies, government, law enforcement, lawyers and front-line practitioners, about issues of particular concern to us all, and also to network with fellow blockchain intelligence professionals.
We also planning to hold the 2nd of Blockchain Intelligence Forum in 2026, which should attract over 500 delegates from over 35 countries. The Forum has become an annual conference by blockchain intelligence practitioners for blockchain intelligence practitioners, hence becoming the must-attend event in the calendar.
Use of Blockchain Intelligence
Financial and banking institutions can use Blockchain Intelligence tools & products and train their staff to follow regulatory guidelines issued by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), concerning transaction monitoring, suspicious activity reporting and responding to risky activity.
Blockchain Intelligence professionals can assist compliance teams in navigating even the most complex cases and developing robust and effective compliance policies and procedures.
To track illicit activities, blockchain intelligence tools scan publicly available transaction data. When a crypto-asset transaction is completed, the data is stored on the blockchain and cannot be changed or deleted.
When suspicious activity is detected, the particular wallet or transaction is assigned a risk score, screened for its provided risk score and then approved, creating an end-to-end trail. The blockchain intelligence cycle of collecting and analyzing is a continual process.
